Walt Disney loved the animal fables penned by Joel Chandler Harris in which clever Brer Rabbit constantly outfoxed crafty Brer Fox—but this time it looks like it’s the hungry fox who has the upper hand.But never fear, quick-thinking Brer Rabbit will have the last laugh. First brought to life through Disney animation, these fanciful folklore critters have been immortalized in the classic Disney Theme Park attraction Splash Mountain.
These fun-filled sculptures are plussed with a bronze fork and pewter neck on Brer Fox and a pewter pole for Brer Rabbit.
"Cooking Up a Plan" (Brer Rabbit) and "Last Laugh" (Brer Fox) are a two-piece box set, sculpted by Ruben Procopio that will be Limited to Production Year 2010.

This is by far my favorite of this set of releases and I can't wait to see it in person.
Actually reminds me a lot of the Splash Mountain attraction.

Ruben did an amazing job on this set! If I didn't have the original scene release, would be very tempted regarding this one.
Like you, the pieces remind me a lot of the Splash Mountain attraction. Hope this is the first of more releases from this film/attraction.

I know that some are not too keen on theme park pieces, but I love them and that one would be a perfect addition!
Love these to add to our collection. I really thought I would never see another piece from this movie so I'm glad that I was wrong.
Matthew-I'm torn regarding Theme Park Attraction releases. As much as I'm a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion, the WDCC releases didn't do much for me.
On the other hand, I liked the Fantasyland releases plus Splash Mountain so quite possibly I lean towards those releases associated with a film, that lent themselves to a ride attraction vs. those associated strictly to an attraction.
The piece I described/suggested of the SOTS characters coming down the flume in the log has been one I've wanted to see done since they've started doing theme park releases.
Jeff-I too didn't expect more from this film, especially after the Opening Title was retired. So glad to see this film/attraction revisited.
