Well, this is a tough one for me. As much as I love the Summer Fairies from Fantasia, I have to go with Snow White and the Prince. This piece evokes the same emotion for me as the Geppetto & Pinocchio piece, "A Father's Joy".
Or to put it in a way you understand Don, the same way you felt like you stepped into the movie when you entered Cars Land, the above pieces make me feel like they stepped out of their respective movies and onto my curio cabinet shelf. (Did I do a good job with that analogy?) :-)
This announcement was definitely a tough one in choosing your favorite. I like your comparison of Snow White and Prince to the Pinocchio & Geppetto sculpt. Ironically, both were sculpted by Dusty Horner.
Very great analogy! That is what I've always liked about the Walt Disney Classics Collection. There is no other medium out there (past and present) that has brought these 2D characters to life in 3D and just as you described, like they stepped right out the film.
