New Release from 'Hawaiian Holiday'!

Sashaying straight out of Walt Disney’s cartoon classic Hawaiian Holiday, Donald Duck playfully dances the hula — and every movement has a meaning, especially when this ducky dancer accidently sets his grass skirt aflame.

'Wiki Wiki Waterfowl,' a Numbered Limited Edition (NLE) of 750 is sculpted by Jacqueline Perreault Gonzales.

Donald is plussed with pewter legs.  Special Note: This new sculpture of Donald is in scale to the previously retired Hawaiian Holiday Scene.

Jacqueline also sculpted the Hawaiian Holiday Scene released in February, 2009 which included Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy & Donald Duck.

I don't have that many Donald Ducks in my collection but this one is definitely making its way into my display.

I love the vintage look, Donald's expression, and the way the grass skirt was accomplished.

There is such great movement in this piece...you can almost hear the music! I love a happy Donald and the tiny seashells in the sand.

I'm sure there are those who raised their fists to the heaven's with this announcement :) Where is Pluto? Another Donald??

Don't get me wrong, I would have loved to see Pluto to complete the scene but let's face facts, talking with dealers, Pluto (sadly) does not sell :(

As you all know, I'm a HUGE Donald fan, and even me, doesn't like to see Donald overexposed but when you see a sculpt that is done spot on to the short, it makes you smile, well, ... that says it all.

I'm actually looking forward to this one! Glad it's already in stock at the warehouse, which means it will be shipping soon and can't wait for its arrival. I plan to leave the original scene release as I have currently displayed and plan on doing something fun with this sculpt-displaying as a stand alone with the Finding Nemo accessory pieces (Tiki Hut and Tiki Heads).

As you said Matthew, this piece has such a vintage look to it and you are 100% correct Koen, couldn't be more happier being my favorite character from one of my favorite shorts!

Love this one. Especially since we're going to Aulani this year. Cannot wait to get Donald. Don't think this one will be around long. Really wish for Pluto. Maybe another NLE to finish up the scene? Please.
Now I don't know which one to display!
Don, how happy were you when you saw this one. He's adorable.

Hey Jeff,

Very happy with this one! :)

The pose is spot on to the Trevor Carlton giclee from Hawaiian Holiday in 2009.

Still not giving up hope for Pluto and an Opening Title but in the meantime, very happy that something more has been released from that short!

I think this piece, Hula Timon, Tropical Stitch and the Finding Nemo accessory pieces (Tiki Hut and Tiki Heads) would make a great tropical party scene of Disney celebrities. LOL.

I agree with Greg.....love the hula scenes, all of them! Don't forget about Hawaii & Tahiti small world pieces too!
Bring on Myrtle from Lilo & Stitch next!!!
Love the tushy shot of Donald too!!

Donald does have a nice behind! LOL. The rear view of this piece gives you a sense of movement the piece has.

Outrageous and so cute! Really looks like he's shaking his booty - LOL!! Plan to display him next to Minnie - but that leaves me with a dilemma - what to do with the first Hawaiian Holiday Donald which I also like? Oh, to have such troubles!
