When she is first introduced, Princess Jasmine is a few days short of her 16th birthday. She is the daughter of the Sultan who has issued, by law, that she must choose a husband (a prince) to marry. She is a spirited young woman with a mind of her own. She can be headstrong and impetuous. She has a bottomless supply of willpower, and is very clever.
When she is Jafar's slave, she is forced to wear a red and golden slave outfit, with midriff revealing top, red pants, golden earrings and, later on, a golden crown as shown in this year's Leading Ladies Series release, the 5th release in the Series.
Jasmine, sculpted by Dusty Horner, joines previous Leading Ladies Jessica Rabbit, Megara (Meg), Pocahontas and Esmerelda is Limited to Production Year 2009.

So glad to have the LL series back, and back with a vengeance! Jasmine will make a great companion piece to the Jafar and Iago piece from a few years ago.
BTW, thanks to Dusty for the coloring on the base... in this scene the palace color scheme changes from yellow and white to red and the base reflects that change. (I know, kind of a strange comment, but I noticed it right away.)
I hadn't really expected to see any more Aladdin pieces, so was pleasantly surprised to see this! Thank you, WDCC!
I happy to see the LL series continued as well. Jasmine was definitely a surprise. Dusty did a great job on her as well.
Matthew-I noticed at first glance that Jasmine's base was the same styling as the scene of her, the Sultan and Rajah but a different coloring and wondered if true to the film.
It's been ages since I've watched Aladdin, appreciate you both pointing the color change and confirming that it is true to the film.
Another great sculpt by Dusty!!
Aladdin holds a lot of sentiment to Bob and I thanks to Dusty!
Great addition to the Leading Ladies series!!!
Wow is she ever sexy!! Glad to see the return of the Leading Ladies Series. Love that series and so many more woman to add.
Love the drape on the floor. Is it a veil? Need to rewatch the film.
As for the floor coloring difference, remember that the film did take on a different tone when Jafar was in power.
Jeff-Haven't seen the film in ages myself. Going on memory, want to say she has a veil, does a little dance with it and then drops it. Possibly someone else could confirm.
