When I announced Fourth Quarter this past Saturday, I included the Pirate on the Archway Bridge but didn't have a scheduled release date available. It's been confirmed today that he is scheduled for release in October.
"A Parrot's Life for Me!" (11-1/2") is the 5th release in the Pirates of the Caribbean Series, sculpted by Ruben Procopio with a SRP of $250.00.
This is Ruben's second release in the series. He also sculpted Pirate with Pigs: "Drink Up Me 'earties!." The Pirate with Pigs is the 4th release in the series.

Thanks Don. This is one of the best series that WDCC has produced. The level of detail is unbelievable. Hopefully the leg will be with hair as that part always amazes me when we're on the attraction. Ruben has done another great job. Any news on the jail scene release?
Of the 5 releases so far, this is by far my favorite! Like Herc (above), I love the detail and the expression!
Hi Jeff. Haven't heard anything further on the Jail Scene but seem to recall when first hearing about it, it was slated for a Winter release. Assuming that may mean a Jan. thru March release.
Getting scared that 2008 is going to be another expensive year .. LOL!
Like you Matthew, the Pirate on Bridge is by far my favorite with the Jail Scene being a close second.
Well, shiver me timbers, mateys! Too bad none of the many upcoming Pirate releases are happening today, given that it is "talk like a pirate" day.
Like Jeff, hoping the bridge pirate's leg is given a hairy enough look as that image has always stuck with me when journeying under his bridge.
Not sure where he falls in my ranking of the series, but the Jail scene is my definite fave, but I be quivering in me boots as to what its final cost will be.
Update: It looks like the Pirate on the Archway Bridge will be making his debut on October 13th at a special signing event with Ruben Procopio who will be coming off his European Tour.
Do not have specific details at this time but keep watching disneygallery.com.
