Additional angles have been added for Wendy (a back view pictured at right plus a side view), a Members Only Commissioned Release sculpted by Dusty Horner. Wendy can be ordered from January 01, 2008 thru March 31, 2009, available in stores February, 2008.This could be my favorite Wendy released to date. Keep hoping (and campaigning) we see the remaining Mermaids from this sequence.
To coincide with Wendy's redemption period, Peter and the Mermaids (2007 Of Dreams & Magic Release) has been extended thru March 31, 2009.

I think this will need to be my first Wendy (not counting the Sig Series version) in my collection. Dusty did a great job capturing her teetering on that rock.
What struck me about this sculpture was when we got a sneak peek this past August, the sense of movement that Dusty sculpted in her nightgown and how he showed us how he wanted to capture in the sculpture that sense of teetering in both her body language and clothing.
Here's hoping we get one new addition to this extraordinary scene. Since they extended the time frame for Peter and the Mermaids, wouldn't it be a great opportunity to add the rest of the mermaids? I think so.

Totally agree Jeff! One of my wishes for 2008 is to see the remaining Mermaids added to Mermaid Lagoon. What a scene this would be!!
