Was a little bit under the weather this week, so followed doctor's orders and took it easy (something I'm not used too!). Catching up on emails, snail mail and the blog this morning.

Have had many questions regarding the 2008 Walt Disney Collector Society offerings. Have not received a date yet when they will be announced :( Hopefully soon, I for one (feel like Alice) am very curious about this year's member gift offering :)

In the most recent Halloween blog entry, Matthew reminded us how many other great moments are in that closing montage in Disney's Lilo and Stitch. With that, set up a discussion at the Duckburg Internet Cafe to list ideas of what we'd like to see and possibly use this discussion as the basis for future polls.

This weekend, there are a couple Signing Events:

So I secured Jack, the Fountain and Corpse Child with the special backstamp but was told the Werewolf was sold out in the special backstamp at 9am this morning. Do we know if they made 600 of each piece with the special backstamp? Thanks!

Hi Behr
How was the event at Disneyland overall? Sounds like it was a success if the Werewolf piece sold out very quickly. Was there a good crowd for the event? Thanks for sharing any info!

Hey Babette

I didn't attend the event, I called Disneyland this morning and got the three pieces. The cast member told me that the Werewolf wasn't made with a special backstamp but I later verified with someone that attended the event that they did make Werewolf with the backstamp as well. I'm just wondering if they made 600 of it as well since its time limited to 2007. I'm on a mad search for the Werewolf now since my entire set has the special backstamp except for the piece from last year that they didn't make with it. Thanks for asking, now I WISH I had attended the event =(

Hi Behr,

Congratulations! Hopefully you'll be able to secure a special backstamped Werewolf. Have an inquiry in on the edition size of the backstamped pieces.

I was told the event went very well! Nightmare has a very solid following and those in attendance were more Nightmare fans vs. WDCC general collectors.

Disneyland® sold through their Werewolf special backstamp pieces before the signing even started! Good reaction to the pieces from collectors and a lot of inquiries about what's coming in the future. A lot of requests for Jack as the Pumpkin King.

Sounded like a very successful event!
