Update 01-28-11: My Dumbo arrived today and just as awesome as I remembered when I saw for the first time in person. This is easily my 2nd favorite Dumbo to date. Simply Adorable, the 1995 membership gift is still my favorite.

Everything about this sculpture is perfect .. from the expression on Dumbo's face to the impeccable paint job. This is one of the first miniatures that has been part of a sculpture that has such flawless detail. Hands down a winner and rare opportunity Dumbo being done in his clown-face circus attire. Kudos to both Bruce Lau and WDCC!

I know that we saw it at the Gallery of the Lakes in December, but I really didn't remember how big this Dumbo is. He is really great looking. Love the clown face.
Great number!! If anyone is keeping count, it has the SITS mark. Did you get yours yet Don? I'm sure you're going to love it.

Hey Jeff,

Mine arrived on Friday. Got #14. Have him sitting on the top shelf of my roll top desk. Keeps putting a smile on my face as I'm updating the Secondary.

He is a large sculpture, you really notice when compared to the previous Dumbo releases.

I'll say it again ... such an amazing sculpture!

How does he compare to the Mickey Mouse Club Dumbo? The detail from the photos looks a little better on the newer version's Timothy.

As far as Dumbo goes, both are done exceptionally well. Bruce does a great Dumbo!

The detail on Timothy Mouse I feel is 100 times better on the newer Dumbo. His facial features are more defined, whereas most miniatures have a glob look to them. JMO.

I know I'm biased being a Dumbo fan but this sculpture is one that does not disappoint!

This piece is incredible! We have it displayed in our WDCC glass cabinet with all the new releases. It is one to sure bring a smile to your face.

it always amazes me how the smallest detail is brought to life. Timothy is small in size, but huge in detail. Bruce captured every emotion in this piece and it is a great new addition to the WDCC line.

Of course, I always think of you and Amanda when I see Dumbo!

This piece truly does bring a smile to your face! It's been almost 4 weeks since he landed and each time I pass by it, it still makes me smile :)

So appreciate WDCC doing this piece, a rare moment (Dumbo in his clown make-up) we don't see done too often. I still marvel at the level of detail Bruce put into the sculpting of Timothy Mouse.

Really looking forward to seeing that same detail in Jiminy Cricket in the upcoming Pinocchio sculpture he sculpted. From photos, it looks like another winner!
