Additional Angle of Belle Added!

For those anticipating the upcoming new sculpture from Beauty and the Beast, featuring Belle, a new angle has been provided!

Gazing tenderly at the image of her beloved Beast as enchantingly conjured up by the Magic Mirror, Belle attempts to convince the frightened townspeople that they have nothing to fear from the seemingly ferocious figure, for the lovely princess-to-be sees her spellbound Prince through the eyes of love.

Plussed with pewter hands, legs and the lock of hair Belle so endearingly brushes back throughout the film, this graceful sculpture reflects the artistry of Beauty and the Beast in celebration of the animated classic’s 20th anniversary.

He’s Really Kind and Gentle. He’s my Friend., scheduled for Spring 2011 is Limited to Production Year 2011 and sculpted by Dusty Horner.

Absolutely love this piece! I have been anxiously awaiting this sculpt done by Dusty!

Belle seems to come to life. After watching the scene in the movie, Dusty nailed it perfectly. I love the curl of her hair, and the gaze as she looks into the mirror at the Beast.

I think I had posed this question to Traci, but I forgot the answer (sorry). What technique is used to reproduce the Beast in the mirror?

The Classics are off the a stellar start in 2011. I look forward to seeing what's coming....keep those green boxes coming!

Thanks BFF for the reminder I need to go back and revisit this moment in the film. From the initial photo, have to admit was a little underwhelmed with Belle from a facial standpoint but hopes were raised when I saw this additional angle. I sometimes find its the angle in which the sculpt is placed/photographed that sometimes a character may look off mark from one angle and spot on from another.

That is a great question regarding Beast's reflection in the mirror, what technique/process did they use.

In the past few weeks, have gotten 5 green boxes and very happy with both the quality and detail in each and every piece! Looking forward to what is next to come!
