The Walt Disney Classics Collection is pleased to announce the Sold Out status of the following Numbered Limited Editions:

  • The Evil Witch from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
  • Sally and Skeleton Tree from Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas
Disguised as an old peddler woman, the sinister Queen stealthily steers her boat through the tall reeds of the swampy water. The epitome of evil, this wicked witch has a precious but poisonous cargo aboard: a cursed apple intended to destroy innocent Snow White.

A truly dramatic sculpture, this powerfully crafted piece (plussed with a pewter basket handle, pewter hands, wooden oar and resin reeds), conveys the darkness of animation’s most wicked villain, as well as the passion and grandeur of Walt Disney’s first full-length animated masterpiece.

"Poisonous Plot" sculpted by Ruben Procopio is a Numbered Limited Edition (NLE) of 750 and measures 7-1/2” H x 13-7/8” L x 7-5/8” W (at widest point).

"Otherwordly Ovation" sculpted by Patrick Romandy Simmons is a Numbered Limited Edition (NLE) of 750.

Good to hear these figurines have sold out... especially the witch, which was a high price point selling out within months of its release :)

Spoke to Ray earlier this morning and asked if he had known if the Hula Baloo figurine was in scale with the King Louie on the throne. I was interested in purchasing the new Baloo but after seeing it in person, I decided it was TOO big. Wondered if you owned either of these and could shed some light on the scale question?

Also, any news on whether the contract with WDCC will be extended. I know we heard around this time in 2009 regarding the 3 year extension/WDCS suspension. Thanks for everything!

It's definitely good to see both these and Yzma selling thru their edition size. Hopefully will bode well for the line.

Haven't heard anything yet regarding the renewal of the contract. I believe it was near/around this time in 2009 we heard of the three year extension. After the past couple years of releases, there is definitely life left in the line and would be nice to get another three years to see what else they have in store for us. :)

Actually, am a huge Jungle Book fan and have both the original scene and the new Baloo & Mowgli sculpt.

The new sculpt is definitely too large and out of scale to the King Louie in his throne sculpture. I never cared for the original King Louie release, so was glad when they did this version of him in his throne. It works really great with Hula Baloo and the rest of the original scene (along with the Event Shere Khan).

I have the new Mowgli & Baloo on display in another cabinet with Kaa & Mowgli (like the balance of Mowgli happy with Baloo and being non-trusting of Kaa) and Junior, the Elephant. Junior I always felt was out of scale with the original scene but works well with the new sculpt. Also have the Village Girl displayed in this grouping and feel sizewise is in scale to Mowgli in both sculpts.

Hope this helps!
