I mentioned in my earlier blog entry that we took the monorail over to the Contemporary Resort to get a closer view of the construction. We got off the monorail and stopped in the shops and I walked over to the window to get a closer view. I never paid attention in the past, nor realized there was an observation deck off that floor, so ventured outside onto it. The picture above (and those below) were taken from that observation deck and you can see how the walkway will connect the new construction to the main building.
After the photos were taken, we got back on the monorail and headed back to the Polynesian Resort and stopped and chatted with the DVC castmember at the booth in the Polynesian lobby. He didn't have any more information other than what we've been hearing. He said he keeps hoping each day to find an email with details regarding the construction but nothing as of right now.
