Here are a couple of photos of some moquettes featured in recent auctions? I do not know if this was the only Disney copy or a duplicate. I also saw an auction for Mole from Mr. Toad. No one knows how many Walt gave away to guests at the studio. That was the legend anyway. I also imagine some of the pieces "had legs" over the years.

Thanks for the link! A huge fan of Pinocchio, loved the Stromboli maquette. Would also like to see the Centaur done to compliment the existing Centaurettes. Mix production pieces (WDCC) with their maquette counterparts.
Would love to see the Mole maquette. Understand there was a period of films where there were no maquettes done. Very curious to see what releases they have planned next.
The big maquette for Cinderella's carriage was seen on "American Experience" the other night. Trying to find a link to some more of the auctions I stumbled upon. It also looked like the Pinocchio head maquette was auctioned off a few years back. The early "Peter Pan" maquettes scene in the Robert Benchley portion of the "Reluctant Dragon" would be cool as well. Lots of maquettes out there from "Pinocchio". Several poses of some characters out there.
Please keep me updated on any maquettes you come across. Ray shared the link you sent him on the Pinocchio maquettes. Love to see the maquette of Geppetto sitting on the toy box that won Walt over. For as early a film Pinocchio was, surprised how many maquettes there were. Was wishing there was a Coachman maquette in the bunch. Saw a pic of his Coach being pulled by the Donkey Boys. Would love to see that done.
Not familiar with the Peter Pan maquettes from The Reluctant Dragon.

Was also very cool to see how exact the Walt Disney Archives Collection the detail of the original Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket maquettes.
I'm going to do a new posting featuring images of the Mole from The Adventures of Mr. Toad, Coachman and Geppetto from Pinocchio and the Centaurette from Fantasia.
