'Ohana! - New Scene from 'Lilo & Stitch'

On the heels of the recently retired Halloween Lilo and Stitch, the Walt Disney Classics Collection releases a new scene release of them in their hula attire.

‘Ohana is the Hawaiian spirit of family, and if Stitch is to ever fit in as family he’ll have to dance the hula—but with Lilo as his model, the destructive yet endearing alien aces each sway and swing. Every little movement has a meaning, and with lovable Lilo and irresistible adorable Stitch leading the luau, each motion means ‘ohana.

Lilo ("Hawaiian Hula"), Limited to Production Year 2010, was sculpted by Bruce Lau. Stitch ("Alien Auana") , an Open Edition release was sculpted by Dave Spafford, first time sculpting for the Walt Disney Classics Collection. Lilo and Stitch are scheduled for a Spring, 2010 release.

Update: Additional angles of Lilo (side and back view) and Stitch (back view) have been added. Please click on Lilo and Stitch image to view.

  1. I'm sure that there are many that are saying "not another Lilo & Stitch", and they are welcome to their opinion, but I think that this pair is absolutely fantastic!

So much joy and energy in this scene, that it is irresistable! You can see the love in Lilo for the Hula and for Stitch. And Stitch is so happy because he has a loving family.

Thank you, WDCC, for this pair. It's great!

May I now ask for Myrtle to add to this scene? LOL (Seriously, Myrtle would be a great addition!)

  2. Oh let me tell you I'm real happy about this one. As soon as I saw it "He Mele No Lilo" popped into my head. That is one of my fav songs from the movie in the beginning. I'm deff getting this one!

  3. Matthew and Jimi,

Like you both, happy about this one. It's one of my favorite scenes from the film and one I always hoped they would do. I am disappointed the scene didn't include Myrtle :( What a great secondary character!

Let's hope the scene does well and we'll see her as a future release.

  5. How frickin cute are these two.

Yes, I think Myrtle would be a great addition. Hopefully Enesco takes note of this. Great way to add more characters into the WDCC family.

  8. Hi Matthew,

When we saw the first image releases of this upcoming pair, I really liked Stitch but wasn't sure about Lilo (something facially ) but after seeing these additional angles (specifically) the side view, am now sold and definitely plan on adding both of these to our collection.

In the side view of Stitch, his stance reminds me of the dance move from Michael Jackson's Thriller. Love It!
