I've been visiting the Laughing Place web site for years, and have seen this magazine advertised. I've read several reviews that praise the magazine.
ReplyDeletePerhaps now is the time to get an issue! Ruben's work is excellent and I'd like to read more about him.
Hi Matthew,
ReplyDeleteAll the reviews I've read over the past couple days have been good. Checked topics of previous issues and see where they've expanded outside the park.
It appears you can only purchase this magazine via on-line currently, most recently available at Tokyo Disneyland and one WDCC dealer in the UK. Feel like you, now might be the time to pick up an issue :)
Looks like it might be time for Ruben to do some WDCC from Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective and Oliver and Company so finally get some pieces added form these films ey? =)
ReplyDeleteHey Geoffrey,
ReplyDeleteWould be nice to see the films you mentioned represented in the line.
Wouldn't mind seeing the characters from The Great Mouse Detective done in the style of the maquettes he did which can be found on his website. Also really like his Marahute & Cody from The Rescuers Down Under.
Not a fan of The Black Cauldron but think the Horned King would be a great representation from this film and a nice addition to the Villains Series, an opportunity to do a villain never done vs. a repeat. JTDO.
